D's win both races although a bit better this year by the margin.

James still won Kent and Leelanau county(thanks to woke moderates who feel the need to pay reparations and kept Oakland and Washentaw closer. However looks like James ran a touch behind in the more populist counties like Genesee where Biden won by 9 compared to Peters +12.

Peters got lucky this year, but it’s only a matter of time before Republicans win a Senate seat in MI. Probably happens this decade too.
