I think we need to wait on the margins.  If you scroll through the map in red and blue states it's clear that the places where ballots aren't fully tabulated are disproportionately blue.  I'd be surprised if Biden's margin of victory nationwide doesn't creep up by several million.

I didn’t know anything happened today until I heard a “parade” containing some cheering outside my window, scattered with a surprising (though clearly in the minority) number of boos.

The only reason people ever talked about the result as a disappointment is the order. If the shock defeat in FL had come in last and postal votes in PA, WI, MI and GA had been counted first this would have been called on Wednesday and people would hail it as a triumph
