So anybody want to listen to a few songs about Georgia, here are a few songs which I posted a few hours ago on this very thread...

Mix of musical styles and anyone can add their grove and wax on tracks to this... but here was an early playlist from GA, that naturally neglects many former and historical musical styles from what is a massive growing State, and changing day by day just like Texas, and really we are talking about "New South Circa 2020"

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Trump would have won the state by a narrow margin (15k votes or so) if he had done as well as Kemp in rural/small-town GA (especially in the North and Southeast), right? There were clearly some Kemp/Biden voters.

Oh, I'm sure there was a non-negligible group of voters who were uncomfy voting for a woman (let alone an outspoken black woman) that pulled-the-lever for Biden.  Not to say that was the only motivation, but it wouldn't shock me if that was a factor.

Trump's collapse in the Atlanta suburbs/metro was pretty devastating.

Cobb: Clinton +2 => Biden +16 (14 point swing)
Gwinnett: Clinton +6 => Biden +18 (12 point swing)
Henry: Clinton +4 => Biden +20 (16 point swing)
Rockdale: Clinton +26 => Biden +41 (15 point swing)
Newton: Clinton +2 => Biden +11 (9 point swing)
Douglas: Clinton +10 = Biden +25  (15 point swing)
Fulton: Clinton +41 => Biden +47 (6 point swing)
Dekalb: Clinton +63 => Biden +67 (4 point swing)
Fayette: Trump +19 => Trump +7 (12 point swing)
Forsyth: Trump +47 => Trump +33 (14 point swing)
Cherokee: Trump +49 => Trump +39 (10 point swing)

How come UOCAVA lean Biden; is it case of overseas citizens & officers cancelling out the assumed pro-Trump margin among enlisted troops?

Biden's going to net another thousand or so out of Clayton.

The only place left where Trump could possibly net with mail ballots is Floyd - and he'll net approximately 10 votes from there max.

Of the rest, there's about 5500 mail ballots in Cobb and Gwinnett (65-70% D) and 2500 in Laurens and Taylor (60% D). That'll net Biden another 2k.

Provisionals - if following historical patterns - will net Biden another 5k.

UOCAVA ballots should lean in Biden's direction (I'd bet on 60% D). So another 2-4k net for Biden there.

Biden's going to win Georgia by 10,000 votes or more when everything is said and done.

OK... I got a little carried away about Florida. I am still very, VERY angry about it and don’t think that will go away for a long time. We made all the gains we needed to in Duval, with white seniors, etc., but somehow Cubans in Miami thought Joe Biden was like three times more of a communist than Hillary Clinton and that ruined it all. Will not ever fully get over that, still want the state to be cut off by Bugs, but you know what?

F—k it, Blue Georgia just about makes it all worth it. Clearly Sherman targeted the wrong state and city. Should have been Florida and Miami instead of Georgia and Atlanta. We owe Georgians a HUGE apology.

Biden hits the front in Georgia.

WI - Biden WINS by > 20,000 (98% counted)

MI - Biden WINS by > 100,000 (98% counted)

AZ - Biden up by 46,667 (90% counted)

Of the remaining ~340,000 votes to be counted, Biden only needs to win 146,500 of them - (43.0%)

NV - Biden up by 11,438 (89% counted)

Of the remaining ~151,000 votes to be counted, Biden only needs to win 70,000 of them - (46.2%)

GA - Biden up by 917 (>99% counted)

Of the remaining ~19,000 votes to be counted, Biden only needs to win 9,042 of them - (47.6%)

PA - Biden down by 18,229 (95% counted)

Of the remaining ~175,000 votes to be counted, Biden needs to win ~144,115 of them - (53.4%)

AK - Biden down by 51,382 (56% counted)

Of the remaining ~135,000 votes to be counted, Biden needs to win ~93,500 of them - (69.0%)

NC - Biden down by 76,737 (95% counted)

Of the remaining ~287,000 votes to be counted, Biden needs to win ~182,000 of them - (63.4%)

The ratios of late votes coming in the last 4 hours:

PA (Biden : Trump =  80.0%)

Sportsbet.com.au called Biden yesterday, but I am calling it now.

In many ways this election is now starting to remind me of 2018

It started off as a disappointing election night but as things have gone on and more votes came in
It has become clear that Biden did way better than what I originally thought

As it stands he could end up winning over 300 electoral votes and probably winning 2 red states like GA and AZ

I not going to downplay it what biden and Dems pulled of in GA is a huge accomplishment they all should be very proud of that and Biden owes Stacy Abrams big time

Also suddenly not only do dems now have GA
the same state also gives them another shot at taking back the senate

Agreed, I'm almost hoping that the final call isn't made until Wolf and John are back as their analysis has been great.

Wouldn't surprise me if the remaining networks call AZ to prepare for a GA win, which gives Biden the presidency with 280 votes.

The comment section in the Austrian newspaper "Standard" goes nuts after Biden takes the lead in GA, with over 1000 likes (and 9 people who misclicked on dislike) in 20 minutes:

Sherman didn't want to go to some empty swamp state.

Maybe this is what you mean by 'bully' but what bothers me the most about him is that he is constantly pushing his own pet theory in a discussion/interview rather than asking questions that the person he's interviewing is actually interested in discussing.

I mentioned this earlier here when he was obsessing about how even if Biden wins Georgia, it wouldn't be by a big enough margin to prevent the dreaded recount.

How long would a GA recount take? Is that something they generally start right away once the initial count is complete?

Wolf has actually been more tolerable this cycle.  In 2016, he was interrupting King every five seconds.

"Now Clinton still has a lot of votes left in south Flor--"

"--tell us what that means, John."

Trump, November 3rd: I am inevitable

Biden, November 6th: And I . . . am . . . Scranton Joe.
