People are very much overestimating how conservative Kemp is. His 2018 campaign exagerated aspects of his political ethos.

I think he got a bad reputation from the allegations of voter disenfranchisement. And also the whole thing about staying as Secretary of State presiding over his own election.

Because I have a 50€ bet on William Hill, in which I would win 450€ if Trump ends somewhere between 240 and 268 EV.

If he wins both states, Trump drops below 240 EV ...

Hoping a meteor hits Austria today because I bet money on it.

I've been moderated for sharing my thoughts on Tender as a person in the past, so I'm going to demur here.

Good or bad thoughts ?

Please finish counting the votes in this century!

Is this place just a pro-Biden circlejerk or is there a legitimate chance of him winning all the remaining states?

He's very legitimately likely to win PA, NV, & GA. Unlikely to win NC at this point. All-but-impossible to win AK.

Are you sure? You guys are kind of sounding like the 2016 Clinton supporters before enough states were called.

What's your point?  He noted which states are likely and unlikely for Biden to win at this point (and I agree with all of his assessments).  He wasn't claiming surety for any of them.

Cause winning a bet is more important to him then the country being rid of Trump.

I on the other hand bet on Trump just for psychological purposes in hopes that I lose the bet

This is just one thing, but his drawl is intentional

This is why you're just a kind of obnoxious doomer and Tender is actually a bad person.

We're supposed to be getting a NV vote dump any minute now, right?

What happens to Trump after he loses? He simply... goes back to what he used to do before, which is nothing? Probably use his ex-president status to get money and pay his debts?

That’s kinda anticlimactic after the chaos of the last 4 years but it makes sense since life is not a movie or book plot even if politics under Trump were so cartoonish that it looked like it was.

But in the back of my mind I think I expected to have some kind of conclusive ending where the villain is defeated forever or even a redemption plot twist where it was revealed his enemies were the real bad guys. To have a close election with a marginal defeat of Trump is so casual, Republicans will control senate and push Biden to be more conservative and Trumpism will stay so alive after this that it doesn’t really feel like the end lived up to the hype the story set itself for with its middle and beginning.

Probably going to start a news channel or something, like he planned in 2016.

I don't want to see what a moderated good thought would look like.

Are you saying he doesn't have a drawn and he's just faking it? I would doubt that

Looks like we got some additional votes from Mecklenburg, NC. Trump's margin in the state now stands at 76,737 votes.

You know, before the election I will readily and proudly acknowledge having a dick taste for the idea of Trump rotting in prison for the rest of his days for everything he's done. A vicarious Delight to see the downfall of such a fundamentally horrendous president and person. But now as it seems Biden is going to be president but with an obstructionist McConnell led Republican Senate, it doesn't seem quite as important.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely want the man brought to Justice , for crimes he has quite obviously committed in and out of the White House. It is as crucial now as ever to re-establish the fundamental president that no one is above the law, including, if not especially, the president. And this goes for his inner circle and worst actors of his administration as well. Nevertheless, while crucial to re-establish the rule of law, Trump's helpful eventual incarceration won't provide a single additional person health insurance, won't reunite a single child locked up at the border with their family, won't remove an ounce of greenhouse gas emissions from the atmosphere and won't raise the pay one penny of people working too hard for too little.

Yeah. I guess people conflated rapid extreme-right-wing-ness with things that stank, like what you mentioned.

Source on the PA vote count being paused? I don't see it anywhere. Is this just a misreading of the Allegheny County situation?

PA Supreme Court is 5-2 Dem. PA Governor is a Dem. PA SoS is a Dem.

Downballot elections matter. Imagine if Hillary had narrowly won in 2016, Dems lose ground in PA in 2018 instead of crushing it as they did, and now we have Republican administrators and state courts overseeing this process.

Nobody cares about your gambling!  God!

It's like coming on this thread to talk about your fantasy football team.  Except its worse because the rest of us have a very real, personal stake in the outcome of this election, and you're just hoping for things to happen so you can win a couple hundred euros.

Ralston is not a secret genius of Nevada politics, he is a journalist so even people should have skepticism about what he says rather than treat him like God of predicting Nevada politics
