The massive Virginia swing just now in Loudoun, Prince William and Fairfax should be a reminder that this election is highly unusual and the particular batch that's counted (early, mail, vs. Election Day) is very important.

Per Jeremy Peters (NYT) on Michigan:

Quote
The incomplete Michigan results reflect a Trump advantage because the largest chunk is coming from Oakland County’s Election Day vote. Many more absentee votes are still out.
We’ve been warned this year wasn’t going to be normal and have funky showings like this but no one here seems to of got it

Trump will win FL by 5 points.

With record turnout.

I voted for biden...like many other suburban white "Republicans" clearly did.

But POC swung to Trump.

What dimension is this?

PA is wild right now. Trump is up 4 with current returns but all downballot Dems are crushing it, all winnning by at least 5. Almost makes you think something is off with that Trump #...

Moral of the story:

People vote FOR something.

Not against something.

I don't understand this as there was nothing like of a semblance of a positive message to vote for by Trump. It was all about "Joe Biden will destroy everything and let BLM and Castro run the US"

Not yet. I still think Biden is a narrow favorite, but a Trump victory would not surprise me at all at this point.

No, he has definitely won.

Can you seriously STFU you broken record!? Unless you actually have some analysis or vote totals to report, please go sit in the corner while the grown-ups actually try to follow the election.

seriously man, you've become nothing more than purely annoying tonight

This 'broken record' has been more right than you have.

If you say something 100 times and you’re right, are you right 100 times?

Please. I'm not saying Democrats didn't run negative ads, but you cannot with a straight face argue that Biden campaign was fundamentally about voting for something as opposed to Trump's being almost entirely about the evil of the Socialist radicals taking over

Voting AGAINST something (i.e., against socialism) IS voting for something from a right wing perspective, though.  A left-leaning party can’t function as an “adult in the room” party with no bold message, IMO.

So Republicans were voting for ' against socialism'. Got it

Really?
Is that high enough for it to be good news for Biden (so far at least)?

We're probably going to have another 100K COVID cases tonight. We're easily going to hit 250K deaths in a matter of days. And people just apparently think that's fine.

Civilizational suicide.

Dread it, run from it, Republican Iowa arrives all the same. That said, it's indirectly a good sign for Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Given the IA #s, and CO #s, and even KS #s, it's clear the White revolt is happening for Biden at least.

The only conclusive evidence we've seen of POC swinging to Trump is with FL Cubans and Tejanos. Wait until the West Coast votes are counted.
