Anyone else getting nervous? Not in the "Well sh**t Trump will win now" way but just it's here, this is the real deal, there's no going back, its not like with bad polls where if things go wrong we can't have another poll a day or two later as encouragement

My stomach is doing cartwheels.

Kenton and Fayette counties, along with worse numbers in rural areas vs 2016, is bad news for Trump...

Is there any evidence of a massive increase in turnout in these rurals?  That was the way Trump was going to keep things competitive generally.

I've more or less avoided Atlas for the past few months, in part because I've been busy with school and work and partly because I don't want to get too invested in the outcome.

But I'll be here tonight, lurking, on one of the biggest nights of our lives.

Not that anyone cares, but I wrote in Leonard Lance for president (CA). A man I admire greatly, and someone I wish more people in Washington were like.

It's about to be a long night, but if there's anything I have to say, it's don't get caught up in the exit polls, the early returns. Wherever you are, whoever you are rooting for, trust the process. The world will not end tonight. Stay safe, everyone.

Can we all have a bit of bipartisan peace for a minute here here? Like.. a cease fire for at least a half hour or so and just analyze these early results before going for each others heads or claiming some landslide as a figment of our imaginations.

Fayette County KY (Lexington), 51% in, 73.5% Biden, was 51.2% Clinton in 2016 lol

Maybe that is early vote and not representative, but so far very good from the only Dem base county to report anything...

Kenton County is a county where the precincts vary heavily. Industrial river towns like Covington tend to be pretty Democratic.

Still, not good for Trump.

Biden has an early lead in Kenton County (Cincinnati burbs).

This is just crazy. Trump +26 in 2016. Yes it will tighten but this is ominous...
