Biden doesn't need Wisconsin or Pennsylvania if Georgia comes through.

On a personal note: just wanted to check in and make sure everybody is doing okay -- and I mean *everybody*.

It's a super stressful time for all of us.  I'll repeat what I said before: if you're feeling physically ill, if you feel yourself panicking, if you didn't get enough sleep last night -- it's okay to turn off the TV, get away from your computer/phone screen, and go for a walk, take a nap, or just try your best to focus on other work.

I'm not trained by any means, but if anybody needs to vent or you just want to chat to blow off steam, my inbox is always open.

Please take care of yourselves, guys.

Thanks, that's very kind of you!

I think this may be the last time that the Democratic path to victory runs through MI/WI/PA.

From 2024, I expect it to run through NV/AZ/GA/NC

I wouldn't be so sure about Michigan and Pennsylvania. They don't seem to be voting much to the right of the nation this year. At least not any more than last time.

I can see PA being competitive for awhile if suburban trends hold.

CNN just announced that the Georgia SOS said there is 90k ballots left to count!

wait, so does this mean Biden only needs to win 33% of remaining ballots since his margin is -29k?

29,000/90,000 = .32222222

No.  Trump is leading.

Unless Biden takes an ACTUAL lead (and not a theoretical media one) in Pennsylvania, this race is far from over.

Yeah, it sure is slow. Still a lot of conjecture from Dems, I'm not at all convinced Biden has this.

I find it hard to imagine a scenario where Biden loses PA but wins Eerie county.

Yeah, that would really be eerie.

I see what you did there.

Are the military ballots likely to be upwards of 60% Dem?
No, military ballots skew R. They're basically all that's keeping Trump alive in GA once Clayton drops the rest of its' vote.

It's military and expats, though.

Is this going to be finished tonight? I can't see how Biden isn't winning PA..
I mean, if they report fast enough it will be. Comes down to that at this point.
O'Reilly says it is going to SCOTUS. I agree with him.

Of course you do.

SN - friendly advice here. If you actually want the Rs to win the GA Senate runoffs, you may not want to offend the same suburbanites that just handed GA to Biden Smiley

Think you meant to quote SN, not me.

Trump will still win. He has upper hand if he wins AZ
No he doesn't. That's obvious nonsense. He's getting obliterated in PA and is now the underdog in GA
legal challenges.

You've gotta be a bot.

Here we go, boys.

Trump up 26K now because of a Philly dump.

Dumps happening every two hours.

Very regular, at least.

YUP.

What the HELL are the networks waiting on?

I suspect they're waiting for the evening to get more views. They shouldn't be,  though.

The 2016 race was called in the wee hours of the morning, so I don't think that's it.

I suspect that from their perspective,  that was a continuation of election night,  and that this is different because it's 3 days later.

For those Atlas'ings just joining us and inevitably typing out "fill-me-in, guys":

At 11AM, Maricopa County, AZ will reportedly drop its last large batch of county-wide votes.  There's about 92K ballots remaining.  This drop should give us a pretty decent idea of Trump's chances in the state.

11 am mst?

Nope! 11:00AM EST -- so in about four minutes.

Awesome,  thanks!

Biden now has a 20,000 vote lead after the recent Maricopa drop:

Biden -- 1,626,943 -- 49.56%
Trump  -- 1,606,370 -- 48.04%

Biden should pull it out,  right?

NYT "calling" Maricopa County for Biden.

Quote
This is the first time Maricopa County voters chose a Democrat for president in more than 70 years.

That oft-dismissed scenario where Biden wins Maricopa County but loses the state is not out of the question.

Odd that they'd call a county, no?

Is it possible that Arizona ends up closer than Georgia at this point? When and where will the next big batch of ballots be released?

Georgia isn’t happening get over it

/s

I thought Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan weren't happening either?

Too much celebrating considering Trump is still president and the election is only legally binding if those currently in power allow it to be--and they likely won't

AZ is going to get really close. Might end up being closer than Georgia. But I think Biden wins in the end. Not that it matters, but I've grown quite attached to our 306 map. 295 wouldn't have the same oomph.
trump wins AZ then wins GA in recount.  PA mail votes thrown out by SC and trump wins

And then we'll colonize Jupiter.

The calls for unity are just LOL after the hell Democrats tried to put Trump in from day 1 in office.  They never tried to unify the country in the last four years.  Russia Russia Russia

It's not like he deserved it or anything...

Is anyone else tired of SN2903 spamming by posting the same thing (with slightly different words) over and over again?

Most of the his recent posts are one of the three: (1) Trump will win [state name], (2) SCOTUS will overturn the results, and (3) Allegations of voter fraud are everywhere.

Is it too much to ask to at least put some thoughts into the posts?

Atlas is a bit of a Democratic echo chamber and I hate the thought of losing Republican/right leaning users, but SN2903 isn't really contributing much to the conversation.

I've been reporting the vast majority of his posts as spam.

What are the chances the Supreme Court sides with him?

What would even be the case?

Didn't Lindsey donate $500,000 to Trump's legal defense fund, too?  Pathetic.
