Kinda surprised that Trump & Co. have not set their sights on the weeks-long vote count in NY yet.

All of this is indeed a joke.

Trump's not entirely wrong on this (but I have said so for years, before he ever did).

There should be no state with final results taking longer than a week or 10 days after election day.

States like NY or CA need to look at states like NH or DE who quickly count their votes and see how it's done ...

What’s that state right above New York? Have they certified their votes yet?

Biden collapsing in Michigan, Does this mean anything? Could Trump still win this?

What it means is that MAGA betters on PredictIt are idiots. We already knew that though.

Which one? Vermont? New Hampshire? Maine?

VT and NH have certified their results. Maine hasn't yet.

Do they REALLY want Civil War?

REALLY?

Of course they do. Trump's team of criminal coup lawyers all de facto (and in the case of Sweeney and Bondi, de jure) agents of hostile foreign powers.

So much like election night red states are off to a quick advantage in certification and Trump has way more electoral votes locked up.  Democrats are terrible with optics.

I wonder what we'd find if all these deep red states' election processes were subject to the same scrutiny that the swing states are getting?

My point is that Florida is more populous than New York but they’re able to quickly count and certify votes.

I wonder if there were more votes added than to the figures on NYT... several blue areas aren't even 90% yet.

Just posted in another thread about how NYTimes/AP estimates for some post-election day counts can be very bad. They have Norfolk at 87% reporting even though they have official results matching the current totals reporting on the NYTimes page.

Kind of ironic when you look at what happened in 2000.

In almost every election the New York Times stops caring about updating their vote totals.

I think that’s why. The debacle that year forced them to get their s**t together, and now their election administration is one of the best in the country.

Lots of Republicans have a revolution fantasy and see this is the best chance they'll ever get to live out their dreams.

That number is worrying, but, what the same time, a bit expected, unfortunately. Also, who the hell are those 2% of Biden voters who think he didn't win??

Remember that's a poll of registered voters. Not the general population.
