I'm not well-versed in how absentee voting works nationwide, but if this extends to other states: he may have cost himself Arizona, Wisconsin, and the GOP a lovely surprise gift seat in Michigan. 

In Wisconsin, he got the courts to throw out late arriving mail ballots so we have no idea how that would affect things

Georgia's secretary of state said Tuesday that some fellow Republicans have tried to pressure him into disqualifying legal ballots that may not have favored President Trump.

Brad Raffensperger, who was earlier endorsed by President Trump, said in an interview with NPR's All Things Considered that he had been contacted by Sen. Lindsey Graham's office in an effort to convince him to discard some legal absentee ballots.

"Sen. Graham implied for us to go ahead and audit the envelopes — the signature on the envelopes — and then throw out the ballots from counties that had the highest frequency of error rates on signatures," Raffensperger said.

"I went ahead and I explained our laws. It's pretty clear what Sen. Graham, President Trump and attorney Lin Wood — they're all on the same page, and they don't understand the laws of Georgia."

This is why I actually think these audits should be the norm in every state and every election. It's not about whether or not they change the ultimate winner (they don't) but ensuring a fully accurate count is important in and of itself.

Maybe this will get Republicans to support mandatory paper ballots and scientifically sampled verification for voting machines.

For federal elections, 1-3 ballot papers filled out in person, hand tallied and recorded at each precinct.

Elections would be held over two days, with employees guaranteed one day off. Precincts would be manageable size (500 voters, smaller in more remote areas).

Federal ID's would be required. When a citizen moves, his registration would automatically be moved. ID's would also be used for employment purposes.

Remote voting would be possible. If you lived in Boston, but were in Boise, Berlin, or Bangkok on election day, you could vote. Show your ID, and the proper ballot would be produced. Ballots would be returned in diplomatic pouches.

Curbside voting would be available for those with mobility limitations. Election officials would go to those with infirmities.

Cultural Marxism isn't real but if true it would be awesome. I really would like you to explain what this nonsensical term of cultural Marxism means. Marxism is all about economics and technically could go with a very socially conservative government. Parts of the old Eastern Bloc were far from socially liberal and there was plenty of bigoted policy to go around.
