One more Georgia recount tidbit:

So basically virtually nothing is changing? Good.

If there were any substantial changes like in Floyd County, I'd assume we'd have heard about it by now.

So while Trump cam request a recount in Wisconsin and Bill Stepiem said the campaign would do so, Wisconsin just quotes the cost Trump would have to pay: $7.9 million.

The Trump campaign probably simply doesn't have this money. Not that it matters because it's clear a recount wouldn't change anything.

Gabriel Sterling, the Georgia elections director, calls the Floyd County issue an "amazing blunder" and said that Raffensperger has called for the county's elections official to resign.

He could still try. His cultists will still probably shell out for it. Trump can't resist conducting a few more grifts before he finally leaves office.

Here are more details on that race.  It was decided by 10 votes, and there were 139 ballot discrepancies.

Quote
Clark County commissioners have certified all the results of the general election — except in the race for the commission seat representing District C, where ballot discrepancies outnumber Democrat Ross Miller’s 10-vote victory and a special election will be held.

Clark County Registrar of Voters Joe Gloria reported to the commission on Monday that there were 139 ballot discrepancies in District C, and Miller defeated Republican opponent Stavros Anthony by only 10 votes out of 153,162 cast. As a result of the discrepancies, the commission voted not to certify the District C results and instead call Gloria back to its first December meeting to present a plan for a special election.

Holding a new election because of a dispute over a razor-thin margin reminds me of my favorite election of all time: https://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/history/minute/Closest_election_in_Senate_history.htm

I didn't vote for him, but Raffensperger has been a FF in this election.

Biden DOJ needs to investigate what Lady G did here.

Are there any estimates out there for how many ballots are left, and what things will look like once everything is counted, and when that is to be expected? Any good websites that track all this?

Sorry if it's been asked/discussed before, it's hard to keep track of this thread Smiley

This map shows what percent of the vote is left in each state:

Trump could threaten majority republican state legislator members in states like Pa, Ga, and others(I am not sure about the make up of Wi and mi?)with being voted out of office if they don't vote for a pro-Trump Electoral college slate. Trump has 95% favorability ratings within the republican base and could make a lot of republicans not want to refuse him.

I call bs on such but the party seems to be attached at his butt currently and that is kind of sad. So what do you think of the possibility?

Republican legislative leaders in the key states have already said it's not happening: https://apnews.com/article/election-2020-joe-biden-donald-trump-legislature-pennsylvania-b199b2debc87fbb20612a48835bc0dba.  Georgia isn't mentioned, but so far the Republican state government has played this firmly by the book.

That Georgia map looks like it’s in Atlas colors since the Atlanta area is red and the rural areas are blue.

The fact that you have to ask is pretty revealing.  You don't think highly of your own party.

Update: Biden has crossed 51% of the NPV, Trump at 47.3%. He's on track having a larger PV win than Obama '12.

NYS has still 84% counted. That's pathetic. What are they doing?

NYS despite being very Democratic, is a very undemocratic machine state. They are decades behind Georgia of all places in terms of making it easy to vote.

Exhibit A as to why I actually like RedEaglePolitics. They are so hackish and confident, it reaches comically absurd levels.

The due in the video is nuts. A lot of his predictions outside of the Senate and House races were out there at best.
