I mean would this really be the biggest surprise? Sure MS is hard for Democrats, but Hyde Smith literally raised $85k in the first 2 weeks of October. She hasn't put in *any* effort

Not sure what would cause this. De Soto suddenly realigning from the bottom of the ballot upward? Seems backward.

Regardless, if this result comes to pass, then Mike Espy has a very bright future, that's for sure.

Partisanship is obviously huge in MS, but Hyde Smith is broke. She did no debates. She clearly wasn't even trying. Usually even that's fine for such a GOP state, but who knows
