It was really weird. I was on the subway and I unexpectedly ran into the richest man in the United States. We were probably a few cars apart and it seemed that I was the only one who saw him with his mask on. He had a black suit with a grey shirt underneath. He told me that he was going to wholefoods. He is probably heading back on the subway as I speak.

It felt really weird, because Bezos was always like an abstraction in my head.

He wasn't going for groceries, he was going to personally tell the employees they'll have to take a pay cut. Times are tough.

Should've spat in his direction. What a missed opportunity.

There were cameras there. Besides, spitting on him wouldn't even solve the issue of inequality in the United States.

So? It won't solve inequality, but I'll take any opportunity to spit on a billionaire if given the chance.

Given the complex impact on Bezos' psychology of getting spit on, it could have a big impact.

Would he, shaken, open his eyes to his true position in the world and start to give away more money to the poor?

Or would he, shaken, open his eyes to his true position in the world and start to see the working class as his enemy?

Broke: spitting on Jeff Bezos
Woke: spitting on his shareholders.

Bespoke: becoming a billionaire and spitting on yourself.

Please stop sexualizing billionaires. It’s one thing if you feel attracted to them, but there’s no need to tell the rest of us about it.

Oh yes, almost forgot that you cannot live in Capitalism in an ethical manner. It is inescapable and you just gotta fight knowing they are selling you the noose to hang em with.

I don’t use Amazon, I usually bid on eBay for worn Textbooks and clothing. Amazon barely provides things for cheap, they just provide it fast with Prime, which I currently can’t afford lmao.

This is the same garbage as the McDonalds meme. There’s going to be an Amazon (or something like it) and things will continue to be convenient, but the exploitative practices of the business and tax evasion aren’t exactly helping any of us poor folks without a huge amount of Amazon shares.

Amazon seemed to compete more on price before they became such a monopoly. Ebay is definitely cheaper on average now.

The lie detector determined that was a lie.
