Biden, even if WV swings R, the swings in NoVA, and places like Chesterfield and Henrico will more than overcome that

Biden's gonna win this, it's looking like VA is going to be high-single to mid-double digits for him and the few polls out of WV have shown massive swings. I'll be interested to see if the WV swing materializes, but I think VA will carry it over the edge by itself anyway.

Biden easily. Both portions will swing D, and you don't need that much of a swing for Biden to take it.

And in the end, it seems like Biden won United Virginia by slightly more than 2 percentage points. Both parts swung Democratic.

Almost heaven... West Virginia...

OK, maybe not quite. It still voted overwhelmingly for Trump. But I AM at least vindicated in saying it wouldn't go 70%+ for him as many here thought, and did indeed trend against him, however slightly. As did Kentucky, for that matter. Again, not as much as I would have liked or hoped to see, but better than nothing. And my county, Fayette? Well at about 60% Biden, I could not be prouder of a county that voted for Bush twice, barely voted for Obama and Clinton, and hadn't voted for any candidate of either party so much since Reagan in 1984. And is now officially the most Democratic county in Kentucky. There are few bright spots in my state this year, admittedly. But that sure as hell is one of them.

(And by the way, for the ultimate "United Virginia," you gotta include KY as well as that too once used to be part of VA.)

Well, to be extremely technical, Biden won the real United Virginia in a landslide thanks to his great margins on the West Coast. Wink

“You forgot about Polandthe retrocession of Arlington and Alexandria in 1847. I don’t think that would’ve made a big difference back then, but it could now.
