2.) The number of independents/NPA or registered republicans who are voting for Biden; I feel like there could be such an intense focus on Florida hispanics that people ignore the rest of the state.
Hm...where I have heard this before?

So ballots that arrive late in FL don't count, they've arrived 2 weeks early and might not count in Miami?  WTF

For what its worth, I asked my friend in Miami how long it took for her mail in ballot to be sorted and received. She told me it took a week from drop off. Thats incredibly slow for local first class mail. But hopefully that means the vast majority of ballots at the post off make it in time.

He needs to get them to the post offices in Miami-Dade.

What's he doing about PA?

I expect that the campaign has an army of lawyers ready to go in every potentially competitive jurisdiction.  They've run a very smart operation so far, and I can't imagine they'd overlook something like this.

Those ballots are still at the post office, so they haven't arrived yet.

With another 12k in Travis as of 1 Central, Travis County is now 50k over the 2018 484k record! Historically, over 100k vote in Travis on Election Day as well, so this turnout would be absolutely unprecedented.

How many registered voters are there in Travis County? It feels like another 100k on election day would be tough given how many have already voted.

855k. 100k on Election Day is definitely doable if not probable

Well, 485,208 were 56.78% of registered voters. So there about 854,540 registered voters

She has a bright future ahead of her. I remember hearing about her win in 2018 and thinking the voters were crazy to throw out an incument in favor of someone with no experience. Impressed that she was able to do all of this without any experience at the role. I've also seen some stories on her taking a leadership role in trying to managing the COVID response so that hospitals weren't so overwhlemed in the Houston area. Really impressive.

I'll just put it here.

Maricopa County electing a Democrat County Recoder -- and Arizona electing Hobbs Secretary of State -- were also huge. These races do matter.

I mean, they arrived at a post office processing center though.  This is criminal.  The entire Republican Party needs to be locked up.

Okay, found a way through the paywall. Sorry for the large picture. After the picture of the Miami post office, I would have assumed southeast Florida would have been further behind.

If that graphic is accurate then Trump country is being more impacted.  However less Trump supporters are mailing in ballots.

A judge has ordered that local election officials go to the post office(s) and pick up the ballots themselves.

We'll have to see if this survives appeal.

So it might cancel out?

Delays in delivery of the mail-in ballots is a very clever ploy.

In states where Trump has the lead, these late mail-in ballots will be contested and thrown out by the Supreme Court.

In states where Biden has the lead, Trump would not contest these late ballots because they would give him a chance of a victory.

You say clever ploy, I say criminal action.

If Biden wins, Dejoy needs to be prosecuted for vote tampering.

I was doing some research, and it appears about 1% of mail in ballots got rejected for being late in the 2020 primary.

In 2019 this would have been a funny joke but in 2020 I don't doubt Republicans would try to appeal this.  The GOP should be put on the US terrorist watch list.

Quite possibly, though there's uncertainty.  This mail stuff is a real Hail Mary and I think even if the GOP disenfranchises some people Trump probably still loses big.  But it really shows two things:

1) Trump's desperation, that's he's taking this risk because he knows he can't win a fair fight.

2) That the GOP, every single elected one of them, is the enemy of the American people.

Truly so, they've been showing concerning signs for years but the past several months has proved beyond a doubt that they are a domestic terrorist front at this point
