No.

Rasmussen told us that Trump will win half of Black voters.

It confirms that younger blacks are less democratic. I can see someone like Kasich or Rubio peeling off younger black voters even better.

Good news for Biden in a lot of swing states.

That's not a given. It could be that the responses "he's the Democratic nominee" versus "to oppose Donald Trump " are simply proxies for enthusiasm.

LMFAO, all the BS from Trumpists over the years about Trump tying with Black voters and he won't break 8%... Pathetic!

Not quite as much of a gap as I expected to see. With leaners, black voters 18-29 give Trump 9% of their vote, compared with 8% of over 65s. 4% of black 18-29s are voting third party however compared to literally 0% of black seniors.

This is a very good poll for Biden and if true alleviates some of my fears about Michigan and Wisconsin, two states where I expected a decreased share in the black vote to hurt Dems the most.

AA aren't voting for Trump whom is tied to Russia, 1960s saw Russian Marxists kill Civil Rights leaders. That goes right down to John James as well😀😀😀

I don't see this anywhere in the poll. Regardless of race, I doubt any poll respondents weigh hypotheticals involving John Kasich when answering questions about why they're voting for Biden.

Nah. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren would've done better in his group.

I based it off "because I like Biden". Younger people clearly just don't like both parties.

Are some of you stupid? In no way does John Kasich or Marco Rubio appeal to 99.9% of young Black voters lol.

Joe Biden has appeal among some young Black voters because 1) he is "Uncle Joe" aka President's Obama's VP and 2) he's a generic Democrat. Kasich and Rubio have none of those factors.

Anyways, interestingly enough, this poll has Trump very slightly gaining support among Black women but losing support from Black men. That has not been the narrative of the past 4 years.

Did someone serious say John Kasich would appeal to black voters?

Kasich got almost a third of the black vote in his reelection bid. His opponent was particularly noxious but that's still not an easy feat.

Just because you dislike Donald Trump more than you like Joe Biden doesn't mean you're likely to vote for Marco Rubio.

in 2014 he won 25 to 30% of the black vote in his run. he wouldnt appeal to them specifically but any republican would do just better

He won in a massive landslide, his opponent I believe was photographed cheating on his wife.

Republican "strengths" with young black voters stem purely from the fact that young voters of all races are more likely to waste their votes on third parties than older voters.

Texts are one thing, but if you can be PHOTOGRAPHED cheating on your wife, you're doing it wrong.

I really wish pollsters would retire the "are you excited to vote for *enter candidate name here*" It means absolutely nothing. Just because you aren't excited to vote for Biden doesn't mean you aren't excited to vote or vote against Trump

how many times do we have to do this

You can say that about any GOP candidate. And I never claimed Kasich or Rubio would win a resounding majority of younger blacks.

OK, since lots of people keep saying this.

I'll cite a poll from 2016.

Favorable/unfavorable numbers among blacks

Clinton fav/unfav (67/8)
Kasich fav/unfav (41/38)
Cruz fav/unfav (12/74)
Romney fav/unfav (18/73)
Trump fav/unfav (3/95)
