I was never a big fan of Valentine's Day as a concept, but today is my first Valentine's Day outside of a romantic relationship since 2016 and it just feels strange. Five years is A LOT for someone as young as I am.
The ironic thing is that at the time in 2016... I was feeling down because 1 ½ months prior I had been rejected by my first "real" crush, lmao [and that I would have met she who has been my only girlfriend just a month later].
Of course my current state stems from something orders of magnitude more serious and complex and is barely comparable at all, but it's ironic nonetheless.

Middle Tennessee is getting our first "real" winter storm in 5-6 years tonight into tomorrow.  I just went for a stroll around the parking lot of my apartment complex, and it is sleeting pretty significantly right now.  There's even sleet accumulation.  Tomorrow, it will turn over to snow at some point and will accumulate.  Snow accumulation will depend on how quickly it switches over, but it could be several inches.  If it switches over quickly enough, we could get more snow than the last four winters combined (and those snows were pretty much always dustings).  This kind of reminds me of the Ice Storm of 2015, which coincidentally also fell on Presidents' Day.  Like then, temperatures will struggle to recover above freezing most of the week (probably until Thursday), so it's not going to be a fun week around here.  Hoping that the ice won't knock out my power.  West Tennessee could get hammered with near a foot.  Knoxville and Chattanooga will get nothing but normal, old rain.

So sometimes when I take a shower I just put my clothes on the closed toilet seat lid since I don't really have anywhere else to put them in the bathroom, but last night I obviously wasn't paying attention because I plopped my clothes down into an open toilet. Not my finest hour!

anxiety levels have been at a thousand for like several months now and idk what to do about it. sh**t is bad. maybe i should start going to therapy again. idk man.

everything is just so f!cked up and i don't even know why. nothing is actually wrong. i need to get my mf head right and everything i do just seems to make it worse.

Never be afraid to go into therapy, and find a good psychiatrist who can prescribe you a sedative. It's not uncommon to feel either depressed or anxious and not be able to identify why, as someone who experiences this all the time.

Don't go through it alone, and try to be patient with yourself. It's okay to not be okay.

Got my second pfitzer vaccine dose yesterday! Other than general weakness and some muscle ache, as well as the obvious sore arm, I'm feeling fine right now. Come Monday, I should be pretty safe.

 Yeah, it's usually rougher than the first. My dad got a pretty bad fever and several people I know had it hard too, but others were fine- I think I'm gonna end up on that side- the most pain I'm feeling right now is from falling down a stair like a dumbass lol.

As mentioned today I got the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine today. Now we await the potential side effects. Nothing yet other than a bit of a headache.
