I am watching this show recently called "7th Heaven" it is a very good show, the family in it is a very upstanding moral family with the right ideas in life, I highly recommend it.

I know I'm not super active here these days but I've graduated from college and feel settled in after moving to my first apartment last week. Five months ago I was at my lowest point in dealing with anxiety and depression on top of recovering from being hit by a car so I'm glad that I've persevered and things are looking up.

Well, I'm now definitely qualified to work in my field, and I'm able to hold teaching positions with this degree. If I do end up with a "basic" job outside of my field, I don't regret the incredible opportunities, personal relationships, and experiences I got, especially given that the last year and a half of my undergrad was ruined by COVID. But given that I'm graduating from a school with a 6% acceptance rate with a 4.0 GPA, I think I deserve a little time to enjoy that accomplishment And btw, the diploma is very pretty, thank you.

First day on the job this morning with three nice old ladies in the Altar Guild. We prepared the cloths - a collection of names I don't remember lol - for Pentecost tomorrow. Then the week after that, we prepare for Trinity Sunday. Holy weeks are really busy too, so I'll probably be pretty busy next Easter.

For the first time in many years, I have a second family in the church. I'm doing volunteer work because that's what I always wanted to do. And because the church has relatively low attendance, it's easier to integrate yourself in the community.

One of the ladies remarked that accidentally spilling a little bit of the wine is okay because it hasn't been blessed yet. We're catholics, lol.

For whatever reason I have not mentioned this yet here, but after all I have alluded to her in the past on the forum so it seems important to share. I am online friends with a young woman from Manipur (India), a member of the Paite tribe. Last month ethnic violence erupted there and she was caught in it, and her aunt and cousin were killed by a mob. Now she should be safe after escaping to Delhi, fortunately, but I am quite shocked every time I think about it.
