I’m feeling much better. Breathing is almost at normal, no more severe headaches and confusion, fever is down.

I urge everyone to take extra precautions when heading out; where a mask all the time outside your home excluding when you must eat, don’t touch lightposts for the walkway without gloves and/or 70% alcohol-based sanitizer, make sure you are 6 feet at minimum (13 to be safe) from other human beings.

I survived several months just b•••hing it, and I’m going to be much more careful from now on given my health. Stay safe and well y’all—support those pro-human and not pro-capital

My grandma broke her hip this weekend after falling down and having an accident

From what I've heard breaking your hip is not the worst operation you can have and she is in pretty good health for her age, but still this sucks a lot. Plus there were no free rooms this weekend so she was basically stranded in the emergencies area before given a "proper" room this morning. I really feel bad for her, going to visit her in an hour and a half or so. (before she was given a room visits were much more limited so it was my mum who went there)

Hoping she recovers easily and swiftly. I think she will be operated tomorrow if I am not mistaken but of course there will be a post-operation period until she is fully recovered.

I'll be praying for your grandma! Broken hips are bad, but she sounds strong, so she'll probably recover even if at a slightly diminished physical capacity. Hope everything goes well with the operation.

So I'm'a jump the gun and post my conclusions before finishing the movie (that's right--I said "movie", not "film"!): if LK2 *were* to have a message, it would be about equality and the dangers of exclusion (and thus be more left-wing than its predecessor). But the movie has too many main characters, which means way too much time is spent on personal nonsense of three people lions, and not on contemplating the nature of society. Also, the spectre of grief which hangs over the first film makes it far more interesting to me, though I do enjoy Zira's scenes and Nuka's death.

Over the past year and half I’ve slowly lost interest in politics as my work, social, and family life at home have taken priority and required more and more of my attention and energy. I took a 2-3 month break from this place and from discord and it was for the better. As things have gotten more and more hectic in my life I’ve decided to take a much longer break from these platforms. In other news, the school I was supposed to study abroad at reversed their decision on Americans coming, so now I am not studying abroad in Japan. Still have to tell my girlfriend about it, not sure how she'll take it. I do not like letting people down and breaking my word.

Also my family has been quarreling with each other because half of us supported Biden and the other half supported Trump. Thanksgiving will be quite fun this year.

Of course, but crossing data together, I'd expect ~15% of the early gen Z cohort in my city to be of non-European ancestry, and I'm pretty sure that percentage is much lower among my friends.
