Trump wants to destroy healthcare in the midst of a pandemic that he allowed to get out of control. If you talk to any senior the conversation does not end without them mentioning an ailment, a doctor's appointment or something of the like. Seniors are going to support the candidate for health care.

This is from the crosstabs of the last NBC/WSJ poll, so a small sample size. I thought this was a stand-alone poll of seniors. Biden isn’t winning them by 27

If old people really do swing to Biden, 2020 will be an interesting coalition of the very young and very old voters uniting behind Biden for very different reasons.

Pretty sure something that's killing one in five people it affects within your demographic (covid with seniors) is in itself a big enough issue to swing quite a few votes.

Donald Trump wants healthcare to have profit as its objective, just as is so with his real-estate operation and his other entrepreneurial efforts. Trump is a true believer in Humanity as rightly rapacious at the top and helpless at the bottom, with people dying if they lose their economic viability. He is about as pure a social-Darwinist as there is.

Good reason exists for people rejecting Trump's style of social Darwinism; it destroys much that is human without offering any compensation for its victims.

FYI most of these seniors who switched from Trump to Biden are registered Republicans who will show up as Republican in the early vote counts.

Many of those types have been voting Republican since....Ronald Reagan.
