The anti-SARS/SWAT protests have been going along for a while as the Nigerian authorities crack down. Sooner or later, the Nigerian generals are going to have to open up or risk being further and further squeezed in a struggling yet booming arrangement.

Thailand is undergoing similar protests at this time, although in a different issue.
