Inb4 S019 says that Santander is racist lol

By the way, I vote Santander and think he'd win too.

In this matchup I’d probably pick Fuzzy Bear as my running mate

That may be a good move in a broader American context but I am pretty sure it would be a disastrous move for a Talk Elections match-up.

But you are one of those "Chinamen and Ching Chong People" by racists, and I guess there would be a Roy Moore write in resulting in a Roy Moore victory because the non-racists are divided between two people of #color.

Oh f••• me. If I have to choose no matter what, it would probably be for Santander by a hair, mainly on economics and foreign policy differences as he seems less hawkish. At gunpoint though I would choose the bullet.

I do however concede that OSR is a much better individual than Santander in that he means well and has his heart in the far better place, and I’d regret the decision for the rest of my life, but millions of Americans are risking being flung into poverty and marginalization under the former’s hypothetical tenure.

Old School Republican, one of the best posters here. While we do have different opinions on stuff, he's someone who would compromise in elected office, hold China and Russia accountable while not screwing things up on foreign policy. He'd have a sound immigration policy I guess, though I wouldn't like that many economic policies of his. Aside from politics, OSR is also one of the kindest posters.

Not sure who would win, depends on the campaign and national environment.

That may be a good move in a broader American context but I am pretty sure it would be a disastrous move for a Talk Elections match-up.

He meets the requirements for being a good VP and a good VP candidate

Why I think hed be a good VP:

1. Both of us would have a good working relationship

2. He has pragmatic viewpoints (his views on policies are pretty pragmatic when he is asked)

3. Would help bring in a different perspective(which is important so you dont have groupthink)

Why I think hed be a good VP candidate:

1. Helps unite the party

2. Is from a swing state

3. Can Help with Obama-Trump voters

I pretty much agree with your points (hence the first part of my post), but I think you missed the second part of my post.

Fuzzy is a good choice for you, though I believe PQG would be excellent as well.

I'd vote for OSR as a goodwill/friendship vote. He's moderate enough and IDK Santander's policy much but it doesn't exactly rub me the right way.

That said, Fuzzy would definitely turn me off a bit.

« Edited: October 22, 2020, 03:41:12 PM by Clinton/Newsom/Straight Ticket D 2018 voter for Mike Garcia »

I vote against the racist 100% of the time, easy OSR vote, also Santander is an awful fit for any Democrat, I expect some splinter from the establishment wing, given he's unpalatable to all but the most conservative Democrats, he's someone who I could see Manchin voting for, but no way do Chris Coons or Tom Carper vote for Santander. This is basically like nominating Vernon Jones (GA), Kim Daniels (FL) or Kim Davis (KY) by the Democrats (i.e. not a good thing and basically a pro GOP grifter), and as a Kasich-type figure, OSR wins in a landslide, (two party vote wouldn't be a landslide, but FPTP means the third party splinter sinks Santander). Also Romney/Clinton voters would never vote for someone like Santander, OSR restores 60% GOP Orange County.

Santander. As others have said, OSR is more sincere and well-intentioned, but he’s a Reaganite hack. If this were an actual election, Santander would, ignoring policy, be a much more impressive candidate and skilled orator.

Santander because he doesn't worship the free market to the extent OSR does.

This, but reverse the GOP ticket.

International Traveler Santander "Santender" (Original Democrat-Kentucky)/Financial Analyst Smilo (Original Democrat-Pennsylvania) 370 electoral votes, 54.5% of the popular vote
Mr. President Johnson (NOVA Republican-New York)/Hacktivist Old School Republican (NOVA Republican-Oregon) 168 electoral votes, 45.4% of the popular vote
Others: .1% of the popular vote

There is no way I would win NY NJ MA or DC while losing the South lol. Im pretty much a Reaganite conservative Republican not a Rocky Republican .

Also Santander over and over has mocked people from the South, and conservatives and I would definitely use that against him.
