I did look at his new website that doesn't suck as that one.

Still, I just don't seem him having an impact. The Reform Party truly is dead.

I'm sure he is a very fine individual, but, no, I would not vote for him.

I seriously doubt it, I don't like wasting my vote.

I'll add to this that if there ever is a third party candidate that actually has a shot to take down one of the two major party candidates and if they're a conservative/moderate I might consider voting for them. Until then I won't vote for a third party candidate because that wastes my vote.

If I was genuinely indifferent between the two candidates, absolutely.  I do not entirely agree with him at all, but he seems like a very good guy.

I don't think he'd be a bad President, but I will almost certainly vote for the Democratic nominee.

Wyatt could appeal to the left by being pro-environment and non-interventionist, and the right on spending and immigration, and both on outsourcing.

I'd like to know how he plans to finance the government on an 8% income tax.  That's about half of what folks think we need to fund the government.

That's a good point, a government using flat tax would require a rate of at least 17% to be sufficent. I am a big supporter of the flat tax...but Chesney's is too low.

I think he should do what Badnarik did, by running for prez in 2008, and than run for the House in 2010.

Badnarik is running for the House this year? Where? I wasn't aware of this.

District 10 here in Texas.

It pisses me off, I live in Southwest Austin; about 3 miles or so out of the district he is running in. Instead I get some lame ballot filler libertarian.

I assume he has no chance of winning, but it will be interesting to see if he can get a decent percentage of the vote. Most people even in his district have probably never heard of him though, I suppose.

He's managed to raise $282,000 so far (I assume most coming from out of the district/state), but that's enough money to make it interesting IMO.

You'd be suprised. His constitution classes are very popular around here. I think he'll be the best performing libertarian candidate in the state if not the country. I mean he has been getting enough money to set up billboards and rent road side space for campaign signs.
