The one where he was actually able to do things, rather than being kneecapped by obstructionist Republicans.

First term was worse, regretted my 08 vote for him once the apology tour began (in addition to Hillary as SOS and associated decisions in Libya+Syria, Sotomayor as SCOTUS pick, DACA, etc).

Lol, imagine complaining about the “apology tour” in light of America’s standing in the world has plummeted to its current embarrassing levels.

First term since he had control of congress for the first part. However, his second term was very decent as well when you take into account Republicans blocked everything they could. By comparison, many presidents before had big trouble in their second term: FDR's lost court battle and lack of reforms, Truman's Korea, Vietnam, Watergate, Iran Contra, Lewinsky & Impeachment, Katrina and Wall Street crash for Dubya. The only major disaster of Obama's second term was the failure to elect Hillary and that he had to turn reigns over to this scumbag named Trump.

2nd term. That's when he got a few c*&ones and started using the EO pen rather than chasing grand bargains with bad faith opposition.

First term. While I didn't vote for Obama in 2008, I felt happy and proud the night he was first elected.

I was glad when the ACA was passed during Obama's first term. As for his second term, let the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics tell the story: in 2013, the suicide rate for US males 15-24 was 17.3 per 100,000 population-- lower than for any year from 1975 through 1998. By 2017, it had jumped to 22.8. As for the homicide rate, it reached 5.0 per 100,000 population-- the lowest since 1963. By 2016 it had jumped to 6.0-- the highest rate in over a decade.

Obama's Presidency was seven months long. It began on July 7, 2009 and ended on February 4, 2010.

The remaining 2709 days, America was on autopilot.

Republicans are monsters.

I suppose this makes the first term better by default.
