Not quite.  For a more effective method of ranking the presidents, follow these steps:

1. Write each president's name on a piece of paper.
2. Cut the names out.
3. Place them in a hat.
4. Draw a name out of a hat, and write it on the first line of a piece of paper.  Draw a second name, and write it on the second line of a piece of paper.  Repeat until the hat is empty.

Not really, I rated them a FF/HPs first and then I listed them in order of effectiveness.

I love the people who did this and ranked Harding in the top 5.  It is just darn comical.  A complete disregard for the pure corruption of that idiot's administration.  But then again some people only look at party affiliation.

Hmm .... Harding was a good President?  Come on.  We're talking about a guy who was totally asleep at the wheel!  He was an incompetent.  27 months in office and numerous members of his administration were taking bribes, skimming profits, directing underground drug and alcohol distribution, and based on his famous quote "I have no trouble with my enemies, but my friends,  they're the ones that keep me walking the floor nights!" he was aware of what was going on.

And for the Republicans who were scandalized by Clinton, Harding carried on many affairs while in office AND even gambled away the White House china!

Truman's opposition to McCarthyism and his promotion of civil rights earn him a higher placement. I do not consider Truman a particularly good president; he has a high rank only due to the nature of the competition.

Democrats have a hard time with him because of his well-known racism.  Republicans dislike him because he was a Democrat.  At the end of the day he did a good job in transforming the US Military from a very weak and disorganized force into a world power.

Wilson trampled upon civil liberties by supporting and enforcing measures such as the Sedition Act and the Espionage Act. Under him, several needless or unconstitutional business regulations were imposed. Most importantly, many here object to his foreign policy and to his decision to enter World War I.

Wilson is most definitely not my favorite President, but while the end of World War I was handled poorly, it really wasn't much Wilson's fault. France, England, and the US Republican Congress were more to blame.
