So, I see that we're at the "The Debate Commission doesn't let Typhoid Trump infect his political opponent with the deadly virus. That's unfair!" stage.

That by itself amazes me-but then again, Jimmy Carter, Walter Mondale, and Michael Dukakis are all still among the living as well. Interestingly enough, Dole is the only remaining Republican nominee from before 2000 who is still alive (in contrast to the four living Democratic nominees in that time period). And he's the only living Republican nominee who has endorsed Trump for reelection this year.

This man isn't relevant in American politics, but the problem isn't that this group of individuals doesn't like Trump, but what Trump has done for such a significant amount of Americans (and especially those engaged in politics) to despise him.

It's also still astonishing to me that not only Dole, but Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, and of course, Clinton and W. Bush, all outlived John McCain, who was the Republican nominee only twelve years ago. And Dole himself has outlived both Gerald Ford-whose running mate he was in 1976-and Jack Kemp, who was his running mate in 1996.

Well McCain was quite old when he was nominated. Not much younger than W and Clinton are now.

Well, even if this were true, what course of action would Dole recommend here? That the Republican members of the CPD should resign and be replaced by Republicans who have openly pledged their support and loyalty to Donald Trump? Given that only 24 days remain until the election, is this even a process that could be concluded in time for new debates to be scheduled and conducted before Nov. 3?

Everything is biased against Trump! It all fits together so neatly, like a square block into a triangular hole.

Bomb Cambodia Kissinger is still alive too. And fully rehabilitated in the eyes of the liberal Democratic establishment.

That Kissinger outlived Christopher Hitchens is one of the more bitter injustices in the world.

Pretty rich given he was okay with refusing Ross Perot entrance into the debate in 1996.

I know that, but it's still an interesting fact. And Dole, Carter, Mondale, and Dukakis are all older than McCain was.
