Fatigue after 12 years of Republican rule, presumably still stagflation, and a pretty awful candidate in Dole all add up to a Mondale landslide.



Mondale - 473 EV
Dole - 65 EV

This map is possibly even optimistic for Dole, and he could well lose IN, SC and MS.

Seems about right, give or take Virginia, Alabama, and Florida.

I know that in this scenario it makes a lot of sense, but I can't see a Mondale landslide and do anything but laugh uncontrollably.
