Definitely still very happy about this. Just find it crazy how CNN has been unable to correct their clear Dem bias after ‘14, ‘16, and ‘18. It’s not like they’re hurting for money/resources

This may seem like a good poll for Biden, but in actuality, its pretty bad for him. This is because CNN’s final poll, especially with how swingy it gets, will no doubt have Biden +8 or less. And then everyone will be having meltdowns about the tightening and thats it 2016 all over again blah blah. Im dreading the day already

CNN has a weird history with national polls. One shows a blow-out, then everyone is freaking out over a bare Biden lead before the numbers are reverting back to landslide territory. While I have little illusions Biden will win the NPV by this margin, the trendline since the debate is against Trump. I think it's fair to say he lost further ground over the first days of October.

As I've said before, I very much want for this election to be a repeat of 1980-in that Trump gets decisively defeated. But as I've also said, the likeliest form such a defeat will take would be a high single-digit to low double-digit win for Biden. Biden is not going to win by 16%-although it's clear from recent polls that he's widened his advantage over Trump.
