Trump +5 in 2016 sample... Cunningham is still leading despite of the scandal.  His favorability took a toll but Tills' approval is just horrible.

Except now Trump is in the hospital on medication and oxygen which isn't a good look for an incumbent. Go pray for him instead of wasting time on this message board.

This sample voted for Trump by 5 points in 2016.

And Biden is at 50, Hillary was not.

For the last time, it’s not 2016. Everything has changed. Well, except for the fact that Trump remains insanely unpopular.

Let's be blunt: There is no realistic scenario where Trump loses NC and wins the election.

Not every election is 2016 and not every candidate in Hillary Clinton. There is no similarities between this election and the one in 2016 except Trump being the GOP nominee.

"Only 6% of voters who watched the debate say it changed their mind about who to vote for. But Biden's winning that group 74-24, further tipping the state into his column"

Too bad that Assange and Comey aren't around this time to bail Trump out.

In fairness they did pretty much get her percentage (though off by a point.) The story continues where the margins are similar to 2016 but the topline numbers are higher.

Still tossup as they did overestimate her by a point.

I hereby proclaim my complete stupidity and lunacy for thinking Trump won that debate night.

I was wrong.

(Unironic) kudos to you for this statement.  The world would be a lot better if more people were willing to own up to mistakes.

Well, don't feel bad about being wrong. The notion that his performance hurt him almost beggars belief -- Trump has acted like an insufferable jerk for his entire presidency, so you I can't blame for doubting that his insufferable jerk performance at the debate would have much impact on the polls. It almost seemed priced in. This is the guy who mocked the disabled and war heroes, among others, last time.

Anyhow, goes without saying that Biden at 50 in North Carolina is damn impressive, and a huge flashing warning sign for the GOP.
