Honestly? There's no telling what'll happen to Trump. He's unhealthy, lives off fast-food, & is in the age-group of highest risk. And remember, this is a virus that attacks the entire body: all it takes are unhealthy lungs & a cytokine storm, regardless of whether or not he's receiving the best medical care in the world.

Option 1, but I think there's a very real possibility (maybe 30-40%, idk, I'm not his doctor) that his "recovery" doesn't happen until after the election. He might be able to be up and about in the next couple of weeks, but I have a really hard time seeing Trump give some loud, rousing speech to a crowd within the next 4-5 weeks.

I think Trump will survive but he'll be either hospitalized or quarantined from now until election day.

He may try to salvage things by putting a suit on and doing 100 takes of a 30-second Twitter video until he can deliver it without sounding tired or out-of-breath, but I doubt we'll hear from him in any serious capacity.

He will probably have lifelong complications from this disease.  Since his lifestyle was sedentary in the first place, I doubt it will impact his day-to-day life much.  He will die sooner than he otherwise would have.  He may not be able to last through 18 holes of golf anymore.

It may make the transition easier.  If and when Trump loses the election, the energy and motivation for post-election-day chicanery, lawsuits and rigging attempts simply isn't there.  I highly doubt Trump will have the same win-at-all-costs drive.  Who wants to spend another 4 years in the presidency when you're exhausted, lethargic and having trouble breathing?  You'd just be waiting for it to be over.

The flu kills ~0.1% of people who become infected, compared to COVID-19 killing ~0.6% of people who become infected. I know math is probably hard for you, though, so let me simplify it: a 0.6% mortality rate is more lethal than a 0.1% mortality rate.
