How soon before he’s out campaigning again?

And I think at least the second presidential debate should be canceled.  I would say Biden should decline the invitation but then the media would probably just let Trump do a town hall for 90 minutes.  But if Biden goes, Trump could infect him.

Besides that, Trump could infect the moderators and the audience/staff.  Do the debate over Zoom or don’t do it.

Biden should demand that all attendees wear a mask at all times, and if they refuse, then he should decline to do the debate.

That would make Biden look weak.. He can't risk it. Should just do what Harrison did and put up a glass barrier.

I am so TIRED of this dumbass take

You've got to be joking. Making attendees wear a mask so a deadly virus doesn't spread is "weak"? Stop following the GOP propaganda.

No, refusing to debate would.

This makes absolutely zero sense. Either you believe COVID is a problem, in which case strict safety protocol must take place (especially in a Presidential forum), or you think it's not a problem, in which case you are ignoring the science and effects of the virus. If you believe COVID is a problem, Biden should ensure safety protocols are adhered to by every guest.

Why is everyone so convinced he'll relapse?

Because there is no recorded chronic case of COVID that has a result in less than a week, even among the healthiest and youngest.

But that doesn't mean his health is guaranteed to get worse again.

I already answered your question, and the post directly above is a restatement of that question.

33% of voters thinking he was responsible is hilarious. If a President Biden did anything like this you'd see literal single-digits approving of his conduct.

"Everything is good for Trump."

This is just ridiculous. Trump was just diagnosed with covid-19 and has not been taking treatment precautions seriously.

The only people who think Biden would look "weak" for not doing another debate with this maniac are already voting for Trump.

Come on.

Even 1/5th of Republicans saying he acted irresponsibly isn't great.

This isn't smart in the least bit. He's leaving due to desperation....he doesn't want to look weak. He sees the polls of him losing more ground to Biden and is trying to look like a hero. I'm glad that he seems to be doing better. But it's amazing to me how in 2016 he pushed all the right buttons, this year...…not so much.  If he thinks going around and telling people to not be afraid of Covid, is going to improve his standing with seniors, it's laughable.

Yeah Biden should agree to a Zoom debate, but reject anything live

As for the media, if they opt for a 90 minute town hall, pay the largest network they can find to counter program with a separate 90 minute town hall

Yes, I am sure today's developments are going to help Trump politically. s/

('Trump bombing COVID poll' snip)

I gurrantee that if it was Biden getting these horrendous numbers, folks here would be saying that Biden is an irresponsible & dangerous weakling and Trump will be reelected with 400+ electoral votes.

But since it's Trump we're talking about, hacks will be telling us that Trump is still gonna win because "he's strong".

Hopefully Joe Scarborough mocks Kennedy again for this ridiculous statement, as he did in April:

Republicans and their voters are going to kill us all.

I've been reluctant to declare Trump a worse president than James Buchanan or Andrew Johnson, but he's really making it difficult.
