Serious question: If it's absolutely evident Trump knew about the positive test/his infection and met people anyway, wouldn't that be grounds for indictments once he's out of office? I mean, if any of us did this, we'd be in legal trouble.

"according to people familiar with the matter"

Haven't you already fallen flat on your face with this excuse? And now you're back to do it again 24 hours later? Give us a break.

Yeah, because that "joke" (if you can even call it that) worked out so well for you last time you made it, didn't it?

Agreed. Let's see what he's like when he makes his "surprise visit"

He's since already gone outside (by car), so no:

This may split the crowd but I think he's clearly on the upswing and the car ride was politically a good move.

Covid can take you down unexpectedly as I understand it so we're not out of the woods yet.

'Too hard to tell how he is inside the car, but the fact that he is able to ride in a car without Oxygen or anything is good news

I would say we're out of the woods, but there's now a bunch of quicksand everywhere

Car ride bump?

That might work if he wasn't already getting pounced for putting Secret Service & his drivers at potential risk over this ride

Perhaps he could borrow the Popemobile from the Vatican, the one where you stand in a glass box?

Prediction looking good!

fwiw when my mother-in-law had it, she went from really bad and not being able to do anything one day to being much better and able to do things the next, and then right back to really bad symptoms again for a few days.

wouldn't it look much worse if trump starts feeling better only to rush out of Walter reed and then has to go running back, than him simply not leave until he is fully better

I'm expecting this to happen. He will try to force his way out of the hospital as soon as he feels better, and that might be the thing that kills him.

Car ride bump?

Yep, I'm afraid re-election is inevitable now.

He hinted in the twitter video that getting covid was "the real school" and that he's learned a lot about it. I didn't get a clear indication where he's going to go with that.

According to Horus there will inevitably be a 3-4% car ride bump for Trump, causing him to win Minnesota by 3000 votes.

We are legit living in North Korea right now. Trump continues to make a mockery of the seriousness of COVID-19. He did all of that just for a stupid photo-op.

Any of you who thinks that he's going to get a "sympathy bump" from this nonsense is an idiot.

Trump just put everyone else in the car at serious risk of contracting COVID-19.

Great job, Trump!

The doctors treating him need to be on guard. His supporters are likely to attack them if anything happens to him.
