Trump's recent actions in response to his diagnosis frustrate me to no end. If he recovers from this-as he seems to be on track to-and gets back on the trail, claiming that it's "no big deal", then his supporters will be further encouraged in their behavior.

This is why, cruel as it sounds, I am hoping that Trump's case will be severe enough for him to have to "suffer" somewhat without actually killing him. If he feels like he had the equivalent of mild pneumonia, that is what he will convince himself all COVID cases are like and that it can't possibly be any worse. Republicans are congenitally incapable of empathy for others. He'll be out saying, "It's not THAT bad, I don't see what the big deal is!"

I've stayed at posher hotels than this for romantic get-away type stuff on only Middle-Class dual incomes and not underage kids (DINKs)....

Sure it's a secure joint excepting some random "24" TV show plot-line, and pretty sure there are separate areas just for the POTUS to deal with Medical Testing and Procedures, and effectively carry on his offices and duties as required by the US Constitution...

Probably also a good idea for Trump to self-quarantine at this point regardless of his exact medical prognosis...
