What would this race be like if Cynthia Nixon had actually won the primary??? I know she has star power but no political experience. On the other hand, New York is a blue state.

Nixon would have demolished (Marc) Molinaro, just as Cuomo did.

Molinaro's campaign ran so horribly that Nixon's leftist tendencies wouldn't have had much of an effect.

Molinaro would have done better than he did against Cuomo, but that doesn't say much about him, more about Nixon.

He still would have lost though.
