If I had told you five years ago that during the first televised Presidential Election debate that one of the candidates would call the other candidate a clown, a liar, the worst president ever and tell him to "shut up, man"..... and he would have been viewed as the "mature" candidate in that debate...  would you have believed me?

I'm amazed that after over four years of this stuff, these people keep deluding themselves into thinking Trump can "start acting presidential," let alone a month before the election.

Even if Trump was capable of change, he has thousands of Russian (and apparently Iranian) bots telling him he did great. Why would he listen to real people telling him to change course when there is a crowd of fake people telling him he's doing a stellar job?

I mean, no one would have predicted the actual president would act like a petulant 3 year old child, so

5 years ago? I would’ve assumed Trump somehow won in ‘16, so it’s not that crazy.

Well during a televised debate in 2016 the same 'other' candidate stated that he wants to see his opponent imprisoned so

I work in a 70% Trump county.  I came to work today and every one of my coworkers said the debate left them with bad impressions of both candidates, but mostly Trump. Some said it gave them anxiety.

These are Trump voters, who think he did poorly.

My wife reported a similar reaction from her coworkers, who are almost all MAGA and Qanon believers (also in Forsyth County, which I believe is where you said you worked).

Two more polls show Biden won handily:

CNBC/Change Research: Biden 53, Trump 29
POLITICO/Morning Consult: Biden 50, Trump 34

No, George is my cousin.  We don't like to talk about him much.

And both are former Republicans who can no longer stand the Party they once aligned with-and exemplify the exact kind of voters which Trump has driven out of the Republican Coalition.

Haha! Well, I don’t have a wife so there’s no difference. And I’m gay, so there’s two!! lol

Just to note, I have noticed A LOT of former Republicans here in GA who have left the party because of Trump. Almost my entire family for instance.

Does Trump actually have any say in what the debate commission can do?

No, but it doesn't matter in thise case.  The commission isn't really changing the rules.  They are just enforcing the rules.  I doubt it was agreed by the candidates that either candidate could talk over the other one at any given time.

Good ol' CNN

There was 1 person that raised it for Joe. 2 for Trump. Nearly all of them didn't pick *anyone*. What's your point?

No, Georgia moderate said his wife.

Please get your facts straight. Georgia moderate and Trump virus are obviously married.

Trump's behavior is even more disturbing now that we know he might be infected with covid.  How many particles traveled to Biden during Trump's insane rants.

Good, if Trumps thinks that was good then perhaps he'll act like that doing the town hall debate(if there's a town hall debate). If people already thought he looked like a jerk when acting like that to Wallace and Biden imagine what people will think if Trump acts like that to voters asking questions.
