Except the video shows nothing bad. Worst case, he’s making a bad joke. But honestly it’s actually kinda amusing. It’s goofy, likable Joe. He is not actually calling “the military” “stupid bastards.” The context makes it incredibly clear how harmless and light-hearted this remark was. If anything, it shows Biden has a decent understanding of military culture. Whereas Trump’s reported comments show someone who genuinely does not respect or understand service at all. And those anonymous sources “from the far corners of the Earth” were reputable enough to be verified by everyone, including Fox News. Not to mention his PUBLIC comments about McCain alone are almost as bad.
