In just one rally in Minnesota this weekend, Trump:
-said it's a "beautiful thing" cops can shoot journalists covering peaceful protests
-boasted his white audience has "good genes" "a lot of it is about genes"
-suggested two Democratic congresswomen should be prosecuted because "why not"
-ranted about Hillary's emails again
-threatened to stop broadcasts he doesn't like
-praised a champion of slavery again

Does anyone really want to live through and experience what he'd try with a second term?

He also said they need to deport the ethnic Somalis from the state because they're turning the place into a "refugee camp."

Eugenics...ethnic cleansing...what next?

The Trump campaign was always a white supremacist movement. None of this should be a surprise, but I hope people continue to wake up to this.

Hillary Clinton is a private citizen now so she just make a video to telling him to please shut the **** up about her.

It's so important to vote him out because a second term for him would be a nightmare. There is very little that we can put past him.

When you really sit back and take in how bad Trump is, it's pretty stunning.

I've been saying for a while that Trump is the perfect embodiment of literally every single thing that is wrong with White America.

I would want to emigrate.

piece by piece:

-said it's a "beautiful thing" cops can shoot journalists covering peaceful protests

Physical attacks on journalists are disgusting violations of human rights and affronts to freedom of the press. American news media have taught Americans to hold such behavior in contempt when it happens elsewhere. It is no more proper here than elsewhere.

-boasted his white audience has "good genes" "a lot of it is about genes"

More important in life is not having 'bad genes' that can truly mess someone up. Tay-Sachs, thalassemia... muscular sclerosis is largely a white people's disease.

-suggested two Democratic congresswomen should be prosecuted because "why not"

Why not? Because Congressional representatives are responsible to their constituents and not to the President.

-ranted about Hillary's emails again

She's not running for President this time.

-threatened to stop broadcasts he doesn't like

The pesky First Amendment might get in the way of that!

-praised a champion of slavery again

Uh, Minnesota was on the Union side and was quite proud of it.

'Twas an excellent speech, all right -- for losing Minnesota by 15%. This stuff will be played in the Twin Cities metro area, which is to Minnesota about what "Chicagoland" is to Illinois.

If you remember back in 2008, Sarah Palin went to a small city in Ohio well out of sight of any urban skyline and gave a speech in which she excoriated the alleged depravities of urban life. She somehow failed to notice the numbers "4", "6", and "10" on some microphones. In that part of Ohio, people get their TV news through channels "4", "6", and "10", which are the NBC, ABC, and CBS affiliates in Columbus. It went badly in Columbus, which among other things is the home of the giant, cosmopolitan Ohio State University.

Yes, the media typically share news of that sort, at least within a state. Surely, clips went to "5", "9", and "12" in Cincinnati; "2", "7", and "22" in Dayton; "11", "12", and "24" in Toledo;  and "3", "5", and "8" in Cleveland. People living in medium-to-large cities might not particularly like living there, but they rarely see their communities as "Sodom and Gomorrah".

Oh, by the way: Civiqs had its 50-state poll, and Minnesota's approval numbers were 40 approve, 57 disapprove. Trump needed a miracle in Minnesota, Trump is the quarterback on his team down 27-10 in the last six minutes of the game. His Hail Mary pass was just caught by a defensive back and run back for good field position for the other team, if not for an outright touchdown. Minnesota is but one game, so to speak. Winning after being down 17 points (basically one must get two touchdowns and a field goal in regulation time and then score first in overtime) is extremely difficult.

I don't recall where I first saw it, but the phrase, "If he were one-tenth as bad he would seem ten times worse" really seems to sum it up well.

I'm not surprised he wants to kill journalists. I bet he loves how some journalists in authoritarian regimes get killed for exposing corruption.

That's actually a brilliant quote. Trump is so historically awful, that people get desensitized. Neither the "losers or suckers" comments or the revelation that he deceived the american public on COVID-19 made any difference in the polls whatsoever. Just one of those two things would have completely sunk any normal candidate.

The question now is, have we become desensitized to this in our politicians/presidents in general, or will Trump be the exception?

Considering how much the media loves to gleefully take Biden quotes (or any Dem quotes) out of context, my guess is Trump is either the exception or Republicans in general are.
