AZ: Tossup to Lean D
NE-02: Lean R to Tossup
PA: Lean D to Tossup
WI: Tossup to Lean D

Quote
Biden continues to demonstrate real strength with suburban voters, independent voters, women, seniors, White college-educated voters and voters of color and even has a decent foothold with White non-college-educated voters. That demographic portfolio is what is helping the Biden team move both Wisconsin and Arizona -- two of the most critical states on the board -- from that true battleground category to now leaning Democratic. After seeing the battle for the single electoral vote in Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District (Omaha area) become much more engaged over the last month, it has become clear that that contest is no longer a Republican leaner but a straight up battleground
...The one move that we are making in the President's direction is the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as we move its 20 electoral votes from leaning Democratic to a straight-up battleground. Of the three so-called blue wall states that Trump busted through four years ago, Pennsylvania may be the best proving ground for Team Trump to pursue its theory of the case that it can produce an outsized turnout of primarily non-college-educated White male voters to deliver yet another victory in a state that had been Democratic for more than a generation in presidential campaigns prior to 2016.
However, Pennsylvania may end up being the most temporary of all of these moves. The polling there clearly shows a slight edge for Biden, and the demographics of the state play to some of his unique strengths this election season. Last week's court rulings preventing the Green Party candidate from appearing on the ballot and extending the window for when absentee ballots can be received after Election Day in order to still be counted were also welcome developments to the Democrats in this state. Yet, both the Trump and Biden campaigns currently believe Pennsylvania is going to be a hotly contested state all the way through to Election Day so we have moved it to our battleground category for now.

Nothing has fundamentally changed either way in Pennsylvania since they moved it from tossup to lean D back in early august. They just have an oh so obvious rule of putting neither candidate over 270.

Having Colorado in the same category as Wisconsin is idiotic.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they've kept Colorado as Lean D. Especially when Virginia is Safe.

lol I think that rule about keeping it under 270 is a real thing...  it's currently at 269 with neither ME-2 or NE-2 leaning to Biden.

PA stays tossup by request of Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper to attract some TV viewership.

The Biden team takes PA very seriously--which he is why he was in Philadelphia today--and are absolutely not taking the state for granted.

LoL, so according to CNN Pennsylvania belongs to the same category as NC, GA and OH (instead of the one with MI, WI and MN) and has moved into Trump's direction this month.

OK then.

Yes, its gonna be a 291-247 map and a 51/49 Senate, AZ, CO, GA, NC Ds plus 4

Unions want people to donate to triaged races due to fact that they want Citizens United overturned and 6-3 R CRT will leave Citizens United indefinitely enshrined in Constitution

The fact that Colorado isn't rated Safe D shows they're desperate to try to spin this as competitive.

I agree with the changes to NE-02 and WI. I don't agree with the changes to AZ and PA.

CO should be safe D and GA/OH should be lean R, but looks right besides that.

As close as these races are, FL, Pa and AZ and WI which will decide the Prez race, we have to wait to see if he gets a bump in his polls when he nominates Amy Coney Barrett to fill the seat.

Of course Unions who renominated boring Markey are up and arms against a 6/3 CRT, they thought Robert's and whomever replaced Ginsburg, an AA female were gonna get a socialist agenda, Green new deal, DC statehood and strike down Citizens United. Not to come to past by RBG untimely death before Jan 2021. Biden and his associates accused Warren and Bernie of being socialist and amnesty for illegals is socialistic

You're telling me. Recently one of my least favorite media narratives about this race is when Biden's national polling lead is discussed and then followed by a "but battleground state polls are mixed" which completely ignores how the ones Biden does lead in are usually enough to deliver him victory.

AZ is NOT more lean D than PA. That's ridiculous. The polls aren't even close to suggesting this.
