Why the hell would anyone nominate Crenshaw for anything? Bezos? Most of the picks are decent but wow those would be extreme even for a Repub president.

I'd end up voting yes on maybe half, but c'mon, this is bad. And even for some perfectly fine picks like Reed and Obama...why?Huh

Reich at Treasury, Collins at Interior, and Crenshaw at VA would all be uniquely poised to do damage.

Ok, I'll bite. How are you equating Reich (who already served in the cabinet under Clinton) with Republicans?

What makes Buttigieg qualified to be Secretary of State? I can see him in a lower position maybe but that's an important job. It should go to a Senator or someone with significant foreign policy experience. Not the former mayor of the fourth largest city in Indiana.

Oh, he obviously isn't as bad politically as the other two but this is compensated for in impact by how massively important Treasury is. Basically, Reich is absolute sh!!t at economics--which is fine, because he's a lawyer. But you wouldn't pick Paul Krugman to run Justice, and the same principle applies here. I seriously don't trust the guy to have anthing to do with monetary policy and if you want a lefty in control, there are way more sensible picks.

Your opinion is wrong but I respect your right to have it. Reich is one of the very few executive-level officials who has demonstrated a real concern about income inequality. While his views aren't the complete repudiation of capitalism it deserves, him in the position would be a very important step forward in reversing the decades-long floating upward of all the wealth in America to a handful of people, which is an economic disaster.

This is literally just a random list of names. But no surprise, coming from OP.

A lot of those are really bad like Jeff Bezos. Reich is the only one I'm sure I'd vote for.
