If all states with more than one congressional district were not winner take all states, but split the votes like Maine and Nebraska, the results might be different.

I am wondering what this map will look like and who will "win" it in
terms of the state winner getting three votes for each state and in terms of
who wins each district -- even though it will have no role in determining the
actual electoral college winner.

Usually the winner would be the same as the winner with the current system.
I am not sure if it was different in any prior election.
I believe that the winner of this alternate map will also be the winner of the electoral
college as it is now.

Here's my prediction: https://www.yapms.com/app/?m=3h6b

Also the reason why Wisconsin is grey is because I have it tied between the two.

Edit: Worth noting that NC could go either way yet Trump would still lead the delegate count, but I have it at 12-3 since I have Trump winning NC in my personal prediction. I think it would be 10-5 if Biden wins the popular vote in the state but Trump would still lead the delegate count.

Obama would have lost 2012 if every state voted like Maine/Nebraska (2 EVs for popular vote winner, all others by House district).

You can see that here:
