Romney was the only one to vote to convict Trump, so him.

Willard Mitt Romney, due to showing the most backbone.

Murkowski would be second and I'm probably still closer to her politically, but she didn't vote to convict Trump. Collins has completely lost it.

As a senator: Romney, because his stint in the senate has been entirely inconsequential and thus harmless

Taking their entire careers into account: Romney is clearly the worst, and between the two of Collins and Murkowski, Murkowski is less annoying

Voted Murkowski

My gut still says Murkowski going forward, but it's really hard to argue against this point.

I have the highest (or least-low) opinion of Romney as a person, but Murkowski is the least objectionable ideologically. Collins is clearly the worst either way. Voted Romney.

Collins might actually be in the top ten most loathsome Senators at this point, along with luminaries like McConnell, Graham, and, if I'm being bipartisan, Menendez. As I believe Fuzzy Bear once said, she's just so shockingly unprincipled for someone who tries to project the image that she does.

I like Romney best on positions/policy, and Collins best personally.   The hate for her is something I can't wrap my head around.

People tend not to respond well to IRL concern trolls, especially ones who seek to use their concern trolling to give the impression of moral superiority.

I have never gotten that impression of her, but that sounds like what a lot of people on the right feel about John Roberts, and I think Collins and Roberts have some similar stances toward institutional proceduralism and compromise.  Do you feel the same way about him too?

Murkowski. Senator Romney hasn't been terrible, but one mustn't forget the campaigns he ran in 2008 and 2012 and one mustn't forget the fact that Romney in 2012 went to Trump tower and kissed the ring of the Donald to get his endorsement, and got said endorsement. One must not also forget that after his 2012 loss, Romney said that Obama only won because he promised "free stuff" and let's also not forget the infamous "47%" remark. My opinion of Susan Collins has fallen almost as much as my opinion of Lindsey Graham has.

Collins bothers me more because she's more theatrical about her moderate heroism and because when push comes to shove she almost never actually provides any real check on the presidency she's allegedly so concerned about. But I do dislike Roberts too, and I think it's possible, even likely, that if he were a Senator rather than a Chief Justice he'd be just as loudly concerned as Collins is and just as unwilling to do anything about those concerns.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Romney flip flop on Abortion?

He was pro-choice as Governor of Massachusetts, but he's been pro-life for a while now, since before his 2008 run.  I do believe that people can grow, and Murkowski and Collins say they're pro-choice.
