Super stoked Rutgers won! We'll definitely lose to Houston, but I'm just glad we finally won.

Georgetown over Colorado isn't looking like such a hot upset pick.

NIT PREDICTIONS

Group 1:

1 Colorado State over 4 Buffalo
3 NC State over 2 Davidson

1 Colorado State over 3 NC State

Group 2:

1 Memphis over 4 Dayton
2 Boise State over 3 SMU

1 Memphis over 2 Boise State

Group 3:

1 Saint Louis over 4 Mississippi State
2 Richmond over 3 Toledo

1 Saint Louis over 2 Richmond

Group 4:

1 Ole Miss over 4 Louisiana Tech
3 Western Kentucky over 2 St. Mary's

3 Western Kentucky over 1 Ole Miss

Final Four:

Memphis over Colorado State
Saint Louis over Western Kentucky

Championship: Memphis over Saint Louis

The first round of the NIT is complete and I went 6-2, missing Louisiana Tech over Ole Miss and Mississippi State over Saint Louis (obviously, I should have switched Mississippis!)  The first miss isn't bad because I had Ole Miss losing in the 2nd round, but I had Saint Louis making it all the way to the championship game.

Today feels very anti-climatic aside from UCSB almost beating Creighton.

True, but things could change.  Ohio U is down by only a point to Virginia at halftime.

Abilene Christian might be giving Texas a game, but, for reasons that I'm not exactly sure of, Marsha Blackburn has Abilene Christian winning the national championship...

Looks like Marsha's been dipping into the Congressional crack, but for one night it worked

ESPN's tournament challenge has zero perfect brackets at this point.  One person has 31 out of 32 correct picks, missing only Oral Roberts over Ohio State: https://fantasy.espn.com/tournament-challenge-bracket/2021/en/entry?entryID=47221764.  Sixteen brackets have 30 of 32 correct.  I have 21 correct.

I have 20/32 correct after the first round.  I limited the damage from Ohio St. by having them lose in the 2nd round.

If Loyola wins it all, I will convert to Catholicism.

What the hell is going on with the Illini? They're getting blown out by Loyola.

That crashing sound you hear is brackets all over the country.

Bracket busters Loyola beats IL, you will never win these brackets, the only time I had it right was in 1999 and I didn't even fill out a bracket that yr

Back then they had Richard Hamilton and Mid Majors weren't a thing

I am so distraught, along every Illini fan. That game broke my bracket.

I actually predicted this one, Loyola was criminally underseeded and after that run a couple years ago which made Sister Jean a national celebrity, I knew not to count them out.

These power conferences need to start scheduling some mid-majors during the season to toughen themselves up for the tourney.

There aren't any fans in the stands just like all sports, especially college athletics, it affects them

This isn't a normal tournament

Houston looks completely disjointed in this game.

Well, that turned in a hurry.  After that post, Houston finished on a 14-2 run to win 63-60.

Tech and Rutgers couldn't get it done down the stretch but ORU did.
