With 97.5% of precincts in (all missing precincts in Cuyahoga, where 81% are in), Blackwell-Petro is over, 56-44.

Counties Petro won: Athens, Coshocton, Cuyahoga, Franklin, Guernsey, Lake, Lorain, Marion, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Seneca, Vinton, Washington

Blackwell winning for the Republicans was good for the state.  Despite the common wisdom that Petro was the better candidate in the general, to win the Republicans are going to need their base to come out to vote in large numbers.  They will for Blackwell.  They wouldnt have for Petro.  Blackwell can pull this off, but Strickland is favored for now.

I would have voted for Petro if he would have won, because I just want to win, but I dont think other far righters here would have done the same.
