The Freedom to Assume Inexpensive Rates for Gas in Atlasia's midwest Section Act, or FAIR  GAS Act, demands that gas in the Midwest will be universally the median of gas in the rest of Atlasia.

This bill ensures that the people of our region are paying exactly what they should be. While I have the power to do so, I will not exercise my ability to automatically put this bill on the ballot, I will instead seek the common citizen 20% of the midwest's signatures on this bill, as with every other bill. I am open to any comments or amendments to the proposition. Specifically, would it be better as an inflation applied flat rate?

What do you believe is the "fair price of gas" at present?  Or what would you make the "fair price of gas"?

Communist filth. This governor needs to be either removed or "removed" from office.

Great.  I hope you enjoy it when you drive all the mom-and-pop gas stations out of business.  Smiley

Not hard. True News always gives a median for the country. Law says that number is the official gas price of the midwest. Again, its merely a proposition, and a controversial one too. Thats why Im not putting it on the ballot without due process.

But what allows you to set businesses' prices like that?

On one hand, I'm not exactly convinced that the companies are raising prices purely out of necessity, given that they recently had something along the lines of a 20% increase in profit.

On the other hand, however, I'm also not exactly convinced that simply forcing them to sell at a set (and rather arbitrary) price is a good remedy for the situation.

Ill have to come up with something else. What about making gas tax deductable for everyone?
