It's still in the game post-conventions.  I think Biden has to play here if statistical tie polls keep showing up in FL/PA.

Polls today are all over the place. Trump barely ahead in Texas, a tie in Florida, a clear Biden lead in Ohio, a small Biden lead in Pennsylvania and small Trump leads in Nevada and Arizona...

1% is far smaller than what Trump trails by in Wisconsin, a state he's still heavily investing in.

Approval is 47/51....continues to suggest a Biden 3 point win in Texas.

Arizona is a lost cause at this point.  Dump all funds into MI, WI, PA, MN, FL

Biden leads among Hispanics, 71-23.

O'Rourke won them 64-35.

It would appear that Biden is not underperforming among Latinos in TX.

It's not even a dumb idea. Polling has shown that Minnesota is still in play for Trump.

Let's say even if dems wins texas it's voting 10 points more Republican than the nation. No one claims Oregon will turn red so dems should do the same.

Lol at using the “Hack D Poll! Trash it!” lines when it shows the same damn thing that 80% of all Texas polls have since May/June (that TX is a complete tossup/tie).

Today is an interesting day. Trump is coming back in Pennsylvania only for a poll in Ohio to show him falling behind. Trump has come back in Florida only for there to be another poll with him barely hanging on in Texas.

A lot of these are hack polls but at this point it might be the best we get.

It's almost like we shouldn't extrapolate based on individual polls, particularly those which may or may not have a history of tilting the scales (Susquehanna).

But I guess we take what we can get, especially if they spell impending doom.

Yet no matter what the polls say in Texas, regardless of the pollster or the margins or the consistent Biden strength, we can all agree that Trump will end up doing better than Ted Cruz did in 2018 because "he just will" Roll Eyes

Lol at using the “Hack D Poll! Trash it!” lines when it shows the same damn thing that 80% of all Texas polls have since May/June early 2019 and probably even before that (that TX is a complete tossup/tie).

I’ve said it before, but this state + the entirety of polling out of this state (where Republican strength is virtually never underestimated) tells us more about this (static) election than anything else besides the devastating midterm losses the party suffered under Trump. People are all too easily distracted by a few individual state polls from various states while losing sight of the big picture.
