Sessions was bad, really bad, but at least he recused himself from the Russia investigation, showing a tiny bit of independence from Mr. Trump. Barr has been complete hack turning the Justice Dept entirely into Trump's personal lawfirm, ruining the dept's reputation severely.

Can you elaborate on this? I wasn't under the impression that Trump's arrogation of power for its own sake--which, in the conventional understanding, is the primary task that Barr carries out in his administration--was something you positively supported, just something you approve of Trump's policies enough not to be bothered by.
