New Poll: California Governor by LA Times on 2006-04-27

Summary: D: 48%, R: 39%, U: 13%

Caveat emptor:  LA Times.

It is, however, a decent sample size.  Primary voters are 471-351 Democratic (57-43), which could either mean that Republicans won't bother voting or that they oversampled Democrats.
