Yang is obviously the favorite, but this is actually a good poll for Scott. Moralesmentum is seemingly non existent, and he's ahead of Wiley. When his machine kicks into full gear, he can become Yang's primary competitor.

Yeah, I actually do consider him the one remaining contender besides Yang, simply because he's the candidate most likely to be a lot of people's second choice. I don't know if it'll be enough unless he manages to close the gap with Yang and move into second, but everyone else seems boxed out.

Agreed, he has a broad coalition (I hope!).

Tremendous new poll!

Yang 26
Adams 13
Stringer 11
Wiley 10
Donovan 7
McGuire 6
Garcia 4
Morales 3

Yang 61
Stringer 39

Yang 59
Adams 41

Yang 68
Wiley 32

Yang 73
Donovan 27

That's my boy! Smiley

I honestly wonder if he has a shot at winning Staten Island? I know that's pretty bold but if he can pick off a bit of the Trump/GOP base then maybe he has a decent shot at it?

He doesn't. He and Adams (and possibly Donovan) would do best, but it's voting R.

Paul Krugman has penned an article criticising Mr Yang in the New York Times:

As much as I want him to be the nominee, I've got the strangest hunch that Yang won't be.

The only candidate I actively do not want and would vote for any other over is Adams

He's been leading in every poll, and in most by decent amounts. Why?

Well polls aren't always the most accurate, plus the new controversy surrounding him laughing at a misogynistic joke (their words, not mine). I just wonder if that'll bring him down.

Still rooting for him, but I have my concerns.

I’ve mentioned this before but he’s known for defending the antisemitism of Louis Farrakhan and being a staunch critic of Herman Badillo simply because he married a Jewish woman and not a Hispanic one. He also defended a former cop buddy and legislator while he was being charged with domestic abuse. I don’t know his policies in his campaign but frankly with a record like his I can’t see that making a difference

Some changes to the cycle

Day 1: "I'm finding myself really annoyed by Yang"
Day 2: "Yang's not taking this race seriously at all"
Day 3: "Yang's campaign is finished"
Day 4: "Yang is gonna lose so badly"
Day 5: "Surely this means Adams/Stringer will pull ahead now"
Day 6: Poll comes out showing Yang on top

And repeat

No surprise to see Morales not existing in this demographic. In fact I'm starting to think she doesn't exist at all.

Stringer has no shortage of endorsements, but the UFT is huge in NYC.
