What's up with Don Jr's eyes? Either he was crying or doing something else

Maybe he prepared with a "convention bump."

I think that should be "convention bumps."

More like "correctional bump"

so far I don't think a single speech during this was as effective as Michelle Obama was on the first night of the DNC convention.

I though Nikki Haley would have pulled it off by honesty he speech was a big letdown
she says America is not racist and then describes how racist  the county has been to her in the past lol.

it was a surprisingly silly speech from someone who is seen as the future of the GOP

Says the Sikh women who converted to Methodism and calls herself Nikki Haley. Nimrata is a bad as name why did she change it.

We're up 9 points in the polls, you don't have to go after a woman for taking her husband's last name and converting religions LMAO.

Really. If a comment that distasteful had been directed towards Kamala Harris, red avs would not have tolerated it for a second. Personal attacks should all be allowed, not moderated selectively depending on the party of the person being criticized.

It wasn't an attack, but an observation about how some non-white conservatives seem to remake themselves to be more acceptable to white voters. Bobby Jindal hung up a portrait of himself that was 10 shades lighter than he really is.

"THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS OPEN FOR EVERYONE"

They need their "good ones" to talk about how POC can't make informed political decisions.

The single-family zoning line turned Pat McCloskey from “generic Fox News guest” to “embodient of why I’m not proud to be an American”.
You can always emigrate, you know.

You first.

We'll gladly trade to keep Antonio.

We're locked out of the vast majority of countries because of our terrible covid response.

I know I'm half of the above exchange but both parts are honestly really annoying; it's not rocket science that no one wants to leave. Like... where does your family live? Where do you think mine lives? We supposed to take all of them with us or what?

Pfft, she's the future of the GOP the same way Marco Rubio was in 2012.

Who will be in top contention for the Republican nomination in 2024 if Trump loses? I'm not sure if the Party is going to deviate from its current path after he is gone.

To be honest I wish liberals were more patriotic. We're clearly the group more committed to the principles of America right now, so why not embrace it?

I find Tim Scott's speaking style to be very patronizing/condescending.

I can't imagine convicting Joe Biden for any insensitive stuff he's said while simultaneously glossing over the racism that is literally the entire life of Donald Trump.

Patriotism shouldn't be politicized.

If liberals really were unpatriotic they would cheer on every destructive thing that Trump does and help him bring the country down. No one unpatriotic is going to be outraged at anything Trump has done or bother to try and vote him out.

its shockingly dumb move for someone like Tim Scott
He usually avoids making mistakes like this

I don't know who thought having that line in that speech was a good idea

You know my family in Charleston always said that Scott originally went to the Charleston Democratic headquarters looking to get involved into politics. He was welcomed but they said he was displeased when they said that he would have to wait in line to get elected office. He supposedly went to the Republican headquarters to ask the same thing and they said sure he could run for elected office but he will probably lose and that how we got Tim Scott.

Why do you think so? I wouldn't be surprised if one of his children tried for the nomination, though.
