The 1996 matchup was a real snoozefest.

Gephardt should of been the nominee in 2000 or Veep in 2004, we would of been saved of Bush W. Gore was the only candidate and Edwardsville, whom had no Natl policy, Bush W could pick on to win the election. Post Lewinsky Gore was a doomed candidate

Gore could certainly have won 2000. I mean he lost by 500 votes in FL

Probably Bush vs Gore. Obviously since then Al has redeemed himself through his work on global warming, but in 2000 he seemed to just be running scared of the GOP’s hypocritical attacks on Clinton and not trying to defend the record of the administration of which he head been a part.

1988, 1996, or 2012 would have my vote.

Bill Clinton as a, in the purest sense of the word, candidate (yes, I dislike much of his politics) is one of the best ever. Therefore I'd give Bush-Kerry the edge in this prestigious competition.
