Nah, Stratfor indicates there may be a military coup sooner or later, arranged by the Indian government - which doesn't want to see either the king or the Maoists in charge of Nepal - with the support of the political parties, once the Indians can convince the Nepalese Army to go for it.

Police killed 3 more protestors today.

This is looking kind of similar to the Shah. India might be wiser than the US which refused to realize that they could not stop the Shah from being overthrown and instead try to focus on putting pressure on who would take his place. If what WMS said is true, India probably realizes the King is not going to last, and when he falls the next people likely to fill the void are the Maoists. So they have to step in and ensure that it's someone else.
